Future-proofing a Hampshire country house with alternative energy sources.

Overview

We were asked by a client to ‘future-proof’ his Hampshire country house.

OUR ROLE

We installed a borehole that would service the house and the farm as an alternative to the existing mains water supply, whilst also upgrading the house’s water system. A large solar array was installed on a barn along with a Tesla battery bank to power the house. A backup generator was also installed to run crucial systems in the event of a significant power cut.

THE OUTCOME

The works undertaken ensured peace of mind for the client, providing medium and long-term cost savings in the running of the house whilst also ensuring greater future resilience for both the house and the farm.
